Bama Dining, in partnership with SGA, is excited to announce that it is offering pre-made boxed meals for students participating in Ramadan! These Boxes will be available from February 16th to March 18th, and be purchased using a Meal Swipe or Dining Dollars.
Students must placed their order on Mobile Ordering a day in advance. This allows Lakeside to accurately build the amount of boxes needed each day.
What Boxes Are Available?
Dinner Box
The Dinner Box Includes:
A salad, 3 halal chicken tenders, a nature valley granola bar, an apple, a bag of chips, and 2 boiled eggs.
Breakfast Box
The Breakfast Box Includes:
1 bagel, cream cheese, peanut butter, almond butter, 2 bananas, 2 boiled eggs, and a cup of Greek yogurt
How to Schedule an Order
Since these boxes are pre-made, Bama Dining is asking students to schedule their orders a day in advance. To do this, simply go into the mobile app, go to the Specialty Meals location and select the “Today” button at the top of the app.
When going into the Specialty Meals Location, you can click on the Today button, circled in red, to set your pickup day to tomorrow. Additionally, you can set your pickup time by clicking the button under the blue circle.
At the checkout screen, you can again make changes to your pickup time if you have not already. The Today button circled in red changes the pickup day, and the button circled in blue changes the pickup time
Please note that, since orders will be pre-made accordingly every day, Ramadan Boxed Meals are non-refundable. Students are expected to pick their meal up from Lakeside the following day between 4:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Failure to do so can result in boxed meal being thrown away.
